1st day since last September that Jonah has let me stay at the gym longer than an hour.
Just a few months ago, he was only lasting about 15 minutes before they called me in to pick him up because they couldn’t handle him.
Jonny was with him today so I knew that big brother would help out if Jojo started acting up, which might by me a little bit of extra time.
Ran a ways (about 5k) on the treadmill until I had low blood sugar and had to stop. Ran it in about 24:00 which is better than I’ve done it in a long time. My PR (last year) was 21:00. Slowly working back to it.
I HATE running. But I do it because it is the most efficient way for me to burn calories. I can burn about 1200 cal/hour or so running.
I know you care… right? lol
Why do I do it?
Because Jonah is a runner.
I took the boys to the supermall immediately after. I chased Jonah an additional 3 laps (1.5 miles) around it.
One day I won’t be able to keep up. I am trying to stave that day off as long as possible.
Man, I need to remember to have more than coffee for breakfast when I do these things…
