Autism is like a huge mountain to climb. It is intimidating if you focus on what an enormous undertaking the journey will be.

Eventually I had to quit looking at “how tall” our mountain was to climb and instead start focusing on the next step we could take to climb it.

And now we just take one step and another and another.
