“After the storm”

I wouldn’t let him dump all the spices out from the spice cabinet.

Meltdown ensued.

After an hour of screaming and throwing things and hitting, he calmed down enough to ask for daddy to pick him up.

I’m rocking him the same way I did when he was a 10-pound infant.

4 years and 30+ lbs later and It still soothes him.
