Found this from 2019…
When Jonah started Kindergarten, Jonny took it on himself to inform Jonah’s teacher about his brother…
Man…
🥺
——————
Jonah starts kindergarten at Jonny’s school tomorrow.
When Jonny found out his little brother would be going to school with him, he took it on himself to prepare Jonah’s teacher should she need any additional help.
Jonny struggles with writing. He struggles with writing more than 3 words in a sentence, or writing more than 5 sentences continuously.
This letter was of his own accord and represented an entire afternoon of work for him.
This…
…is what big brothers do.

”Dear Ms [teacher]
How are you? My brother Jonah is going to be in your class next year.
There’s some stuff you need to know. He has autism. He likes to throw toys when he’s mad. He hits when he’s mad.
He likes to draw. He tries to get other people’s attention. He pushes kids.
Mrs. [old teacher] put Jonah in your class next year.
(back)
He likes to play games. He sometimes won’t listen. He talks when he’s not supposed to.
My Mom and Dad want to know when we can meet.
He doesn’t like it when people are playing with his toys.
He’s not potty-trained. You can send someone to get me so I can help.
Love, Jonny
PS If you want me you can ask my Mom and Dad at [our phone number]”
