Me: “You really are, bud! Jonah feels really comfortable around you, and you are really encouraging to him. You sometimes phrase your questions with specific choices for answers which makes it really easy for Jonah to participate in the conversation.”

Jonny: “Is that what speech therapists do?”

Me: “Yeah. Sometimes.”

Jonny: “Great! My rates are $100/hour.”

Me: “Jonny!”

Jonny: “bwahahaha! I‘M KIDDING! I’M KIDDING!”

…”I meant $100/second! bwahahaha!”

Me: “Boy! Go do your homework!”
