I shot this picture …

I shot this picture of Jonah walking through a tunnel on his way to the beach.

Sometimes I’ll catch myself just staring at it.

It’s a powerful image. It represents so many things to me.

“A light at the end of the tunnel.”

This represents hope. Maybe we’re going through a hard time now, but we’re moving forward. We’re taking steps. We don’t know what the future looks like, but it looks better than where we are now…

Or…

Maybe the light at the end of the tunnel represents something else… “finality.”
Do we REALLY want to go that way? Are we on the right path? Does this path lead us to success, or to hardship?

And the fact that I just don’t know what’s ahead gives me instant anxiety.

And then I have to remind myself that I have the ability to choose “faith” or “fear” when dealing with a situation and an unknown outcome.

Faith or fear…

I have faith that we are doing the very best we can for Jonah and that we are on a path that is leading him toward a bright future.

It’s amazing how one little photograph can trigger so many emotions.

Anyway, just thought I’d share it with you.
