Random pic of the day!

One bad thing about having a nice big digital SLR camera is it is BIG. I mean it is a royal pain to carry around.

That being said, I felt like posting some new pics only to realize…I have no new pics to post.

So I will give you a brief update on our happenings and then close my eyes and pic a random shot out of my iphoto collection and tell you something interesting about it. How about that?

*Updates*
Jonny is cutting 2 teeth on top still. Waking up 2-3 times a night. Daddy hasn’t gone to work out in almost 2 weeks since his workout time is 5am and something about being up with a baby at night sucks the motivation right out of you.

Jonny had his appointment with the audiologist. His ears are perfect.

Jonny has taken to throwing his meals on the floor instead of eating them. Especially his Mac-&-Cheese. He graduated to a sippy cup from his baby Haberman bottle he used since birth. He can also drink by himself. Yay!

Jonny went to the zoo for the first time, but Daddy didn’t bring his camera…because it was too big…and he brought his 17″ lap top instead. Jonny was more interested in being walked around everywhere than the animals.

Daddy is all “work work work” until the weekend.

Now the fun part. (*randomly scrolls through all digital photos*) and the winner is…

This is my niece back in 2006. I believe she is nearly 2 in this picture. We were visiting and playing out in the front yard. Her younger brother was a newborn (I believe)… I like the angle of the camera and the way the power lines frame her head. I don’t think I was looking through the viewfinder when I shot it. Kids sometimes have a ‘camera smile’ that looks very forced when posing for shots and I think I was trying to get a genuine smile with this series. Let me see if I got a good one of her.

This is probably the best shot I got that night of my niece pictured here being chased by Grandpa (Mama’s dad)

Wasn’t that fun??
