My former self would not believe what my current self is trying to do right now.
Jonah’s been sleeping better so I thought I’d try to squeeze in some “me” time in the mornings.
Got up at 4am fully planning to go to the gym by 5am. Had 2 cups of coffee.
That’s as far as it got.
I discovered I am just too tired to work out at pfffft 5am. I’m pretty sure, even if I went, I’d not really do anything but walk on the treadmill for a few minutes before sitting on a bench looking at my phone.
My body is complaining that “I just worked out yesterday at 5am. How old do you think you are? 23?”
Nope. Two days in a row is just not happening.
So I got up at 4am for no reason. ><
My former self is shaking his head in disbelief saying, “This is what you’ve done with your life?…”
