Autism and haircuts.
It’s taken around a year to get to this point. The first few haircuts Jonah received required 3 people to do.
Jonah would usually sit on my lap and I would pin his arms down. My wife would hold an episode of Daniel Tigers Neighborhood on her phone, and the stylist would have to pin his head to her chest for the worlds fastest crew cut. He would scream to high heaven.
But we have established a haircut routine. This time, he was in a new seat, not even strapped in and he let the stylist put a visor on him.
The only thing we can’t get him to do is to wear the cape, and he’s not too crazy about the hair dryer, but we’ll take it!
