I swear this is every day…

Me: “Jonny lets go!”

Jonny: “I don’t wannna get up..”

Me: “Fine. We’ll just be late.”
(he actually HATES being late to school. Just not enough to actually get ready quicker.)

Jonny: “aww, I don’t WANNA be late…”

Me: “Well, let’s get going.”

Jonny: “aww…”

Me: “Come eat your breakfast!”

Jonny: “Aww, not breakfast AGAIN!”

Me: “…”
Me: “really?… fine. Don’t eat breakfast.”

Jonny: NO I WANT TO EAT BREAKFAST!”

Jonny: “I’m just too distracted by… this string.”

Then, after 20 minutes of pulling teeth to get him to finish breakfast, get dressed and put his shoes on (over his mismatched socks…”whatever, we’re late”)…

I’ll be loading Jonah into the car and then…

Jonny: “I have to go to the bathroom.”

EVERY TIME.
