If I had to guess what profession Jonah would pursue as a career, I would guess either an extreme (probably water) sports athlete, or an engineer.
Jonah’s current online video series he likes watching is called “The Great Ball Contraption.” (GBC)
The GBC is basically a creative LEGO Rube Goldberg machine that people build individually using LEGO pieces and assemble together at an international event.
It takes an engineer’s brain to put together.
Each “module” that is submitted will cycle small LEGO-sized balls through ramps, pulleys, conveyor belts and other creative devices designed to receive the balls from one module and pass them to another module.
This video shows the contraptions in action with a commentator explaining how each module works.
Jonah will watch for hours.
I’ve been watching for about 15 minutes now.
It is really mesmerizing.
