Absolutely.
Are devices charged?
Do I have a change of clothes?
Do I have emergency snacks?
Do I have another preferred place or activity in reserve if this place doesn’t work out?”
This is a lesson I have learned the hard way.
Everywhere I go with Jonah, I ask myself, “Am I prepared for a ‘Jonah meltdown’?
How far away from the car are we?
Will I have somebody to take care
Are devices charged?
Do I have a change of clothes?
Do I have emergency snacks?
Do I have another preferred place or activity in reserve if this place doesn’t work out?”
And this is all in the back of my mind, before any actual planning happens…
What preparations do you guys make?
(Love this from Just a minutemy cape is in the dryer)
Planning for success, backup planning for a successful exit. It used to be a worry. Now, it’s just a way to make sure my kids are my priority. Traditions are great, when they accommodate the needs of ALL the family members. When it gets to be too much, my kids come before tradition. It’s a no brainer.
